You can have the best Medical Marketing keywords in the world to drive traffic to your site, but if your medical website is not appealing to the visitor they will leave and probably never come back.

You have less than 30 seconds to grab their ATTENTION.

Have you ever heard of the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle? Don’t get carried away and build your medical site with hundreds of pages of information. If your potential patient stays longer than 30 seconds, make sure they can find what they need in 3 to 4 minutes.

Take a look at your site and ask yourself. Is it easy to navigate around? If a visitor lands on your site are they going to be able to find what they need quickly? Are all your links working? Nothing frustrates a visitor more than if they click on a link and an error message comes up.

Is all the most important information above the fold so they don’t have to scroll down to find it? Your Phone number should typically be in the top right, the side and at the bottom of the page. Are there multiple ways for them to contact you? Is there a form they can fill in to be contacted if they don’t want to call or email you?

Use the Home Page to introduce your medical practice and let the visitor know what services you offer. Don’t be a little piggy and use the words “we we we we” all through the site. Let them know “What’s In It For Them” (WIIFM) when they become a patient with you. For example use “You will get the best patient care in town”. NOT … “We give the best patient care in town”.

You will need a page to list your Services. Have a Testimonial Page or better yet, put your Testimonials right on the front page. Make sure you are asking for Testimonials from your patients. You can have a page “About Us” or even combine it with the “Contact Us” page.
