Google has created a resourceful tool for medical practices to have a presence online. It’s called Google+ Local Places. They are the Map Listings that you see when you look for a certain product or service.
Google has done most of the work for you. Do a search for your medical practice in your area utilizing your keywords. When you discover your listing you will see a Location Page by your listing. If not your website isn’t really likely ranking very high and you may need to scroll down and with the next couple of pages.
If you do not discover your website look for the term “Google Local Places” and it will give you a link to Google Places to upload your medical practice.
Once you find your listing with the “Local Page” all you have to do is claim your medical practice listing.
Fill in as much information as you can about your medical practice. Include pictures of you and your personnel and even add some videos. A medical practice that does not have an Internet website can even get on Google Places. Exactly how simple is that?
